Ethical Principles

Aygaz Group Code of Ethic, draw a comprehensive framework for Aygaz Group employees and stakeholders, particularly on issues such as human rights, anti-bribery and corruption, preventing the conflict of interest, economic sanctions, data protection, confidentiality and the protection of insider trading and occupational health and safety. In this context, all employees are considered equal regardless of ethnicity, race, language, religion, age, gender, nationality, disability and cultural differences. Employees’ freedom for unionization and collective bargaining rights are guaranteed. The principle of standing against child labor, forced and compulsory labor is adopted. All these policies within the Global Compact are applied to all stakeholder relationships besides the working environment. Aygaz Group Code of Ethics has been created to provide guidance for Aygaz Group managers, employees and business partners (suppliers, dealers, authorized service companies, contractors, consultants, all kinds of representatives acting on behalf of the company, etc.).

Aygaz Group Code of Ethics, which are based on the principles of our founder Vehbi Koç, integrity, honesty, responsibility, trust and respect, involves important rules regulating working life such as especially the Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Respect to Human Rights, Prevention the Conflict of Interest, Sanctions and Export Controls.

Aygaz Group carries out every business and every decision made in accordance with the highest ethical standards. It takes the necessary measures to anti-corruption and bribery in accordance with the United Nations Global Compact signed by Koç Holding A.Ş.

Aygaz Group, know that the violation of laws and regulations and Code of Ethics threaten the general interests of individuals, companies and the society, and that it leads to injustice, may cause material and moral damage, and that, when legally required it is also moral duty to notify the authorities in such situations. Aygaz Group employees or persons acting on behalf of Aygaz are obliged to report persons and institutions that violate the Code of Ethics or any situation that violates these principles, on the Ethics Line. The notifications are kept confidential. During the inspection and investigation period following the act of reporting, the rules of confidentiality are observed with great care and avoidance of harm to the notifying employee is taken as a priority.
